I prefer to schedule a walk through of the clients home. I then look at each room to calculate approximately how long it should take to clean thoroughly. I adjust my hourly rate depending on type of cleaning, and if I need to bring along a truster assistant I'll charge more hourly. I add estimated cleaning time to hourly cost and give an exact final cost.
